Full-time, paid three-year developmental position. The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) PALACE Acquire (PAQ) program is for those with, or approaching, a bachelors or master’s degree. Preferred areas of study for the Security Administration career field include Criminal Justice, Security, Business, Psychology, Intelligence, Global & International Studies, Political Science, or Humanities. PAQ offers the opportunity to occupy a permanent full-time position within a formal developmental program designed to let you experience both personal and professional growth, while dealing effectively and ethically with change, complexity, and problem solving. You will be eligible to receive annual promotions with salary increases based upon your successful performance and supervisor approval. Air Force Civilian Security Administration Professionals are responsible for protecting national security. They provide expert advice, analysis, and operational plans and policies with the purpose of identifying and protecting information, personnel, property, facilities, operations, and material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, espionage, sabotage, or loss. Duties involve developing, evaluating, educating, and maintaining policies, procedures, and methods used to safeguard information, property, personnel, operations, and materials. Work is primarily performed in the areas of information, personnel, industrial, operations, anti-terrorism, and physical security.

Key Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale.
- To be considered for this Recent Graduate position, you must have graduated no more than two-years prior to the projected date of hire.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate or graduate degrees (Note: ALL graduates with a Bachelor’s/master’s degree start out at the same GS-07 pay grade).
- Must sign an Air Force-wide mobility agreement (this means you are willing to relocate after you have successfully completed the program).
- Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance (Air Force will fund the clearance).
