About Bright Line Investigations

Bright Line Investigations LLC is a Wisconsin-based private investigative agency providing professional investigative services to attorneys, insurance carriers, businesses, government agencies, and private clients throughout Wisconsin.

We are currently seeking a dependable, professional, and self-motivated Process Server to join our growing team.

Position Summary

Process Servers are responsible for the professional delivery of legal documents while ensuring compliance with Wisconsin law and company procedures. This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, excellent documentation, and the ability to work independently.

Assignments are completed throughout the Madison area and surrounding communities with flexible scheduling based on client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve legal documents to individuals and businesses.
  • Verify recipient identities.
  • Complete accurate affidavits of service.
  • Document each service attempt thoroughly.
  • Maintain communication with management regarding assignment updates.
  • Upload affidavits, photographs, and body camera footage promptly following assignments.
  • Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Exercise professionalism during all interactions with the public.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Comfortable interacting with the public.
  • Ability to remain calm during difficult situations.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Previous experience in legal services, customer service, investigations, law enforcement, or process serving is beneficial but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and accountability.
