About Connex AI: At Connex AI, we are an early-stage, fast-moving startup building next-generation technology platforms. We operate with a lean, aggressive startup mentality. We don’t do corporate red tape; we build, we test, and we launch. We are currently developing a highly scalable, two-sided mobile marketplace and are looking for a hungry, driven Flutter developer to own the front-end mobile architecture.

Role Overview: We’re looking for a Flutter Developer to build and maintain a high-performance, cross-platform mobile application serving both iOS and Android. You’ll take Figma/Google Stitch designs and turn them into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces, while also integrating backend APIs, third-party services, and core features like geolocation mapping, QR code scanning, and split-payment processing.

Technical Skills Required: Dart, Flutter, RESTful APIs, Riverpod, BLoC, Provider, Git

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy a seamless, high-performance mobile application for iOS and Android using a single Flutter/Dart codebase.
  • Translate complex UI designs from Figma or Google Stitch into pixel-perfect, responsive frontend code.
  • Connect the Flutter frontend to backend APIs, relational databases, and third-party services.
  • Implement dynamic state management using Riverpod, BLoC, or Provider.
  • Integrate geolocation mapping using SDKs such as Google Maps or Mapbox.
  • Implement hardware-level features such as QR code generation and scanning.
  • Assist in integrating and testing split-payment processing infrastructure (e.g., Stripe Connect).
  • Write native Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) code via platform channels when a feature requires functionality beyond what Dart/Flutter can handle directly.
  • Publish and manage app releases on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of professional or strong project-based experience using Flutter and Dart.
  • Proven ability to publish and manage apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Strong understanding of modern Flutter state management (Riverpod, BLoC, or Provider).
  • Experience consuming RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data streams.
  • Comfort using Git for version control in a collaborative environment.
  • Working familiarity with native Android (Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) for occasional platform-specific integrations.
  • Self-starter mentality — able to solve problems independently rather than waiting for a ticket to be assigned; comfortable in a startup, fast-moving product environment.
