We are seeking a self-motivated, professional individual to join our team as a Graphic Design Intern.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. They are eager to grow in their awareness and skills in design. The candidate will report to the Graphic Design Supervisor and will work on various projects and tasks that impact our marketing team as well as our customers. This intern position is for 3 months and must work in the home office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist supervisor and teams with internal projects
- Manage and organize files and accounts
- Perform tasks and design materials in a fast-paced environment
- Create print and social media campaigns for clients
- Provides friendly customer service to our clients and other team members
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Provide and receive constructive feedback
- Other responsibilities or duties assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Required: a link to your online portfolio
- Preference toward candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field
(Certification, Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience may be considered instead) - Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva
- Knowledge of print design and social media design
- Takes responsibility for own work and actions
- Work is accurate and on-time, even when managing multiple projects quickly
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Desire to mature as a designer and professional
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
