About Us
Easy Event Planning (EEP LLC) is launching the first-ever U.S. marketplace for party items, in partnership with Amazon, Etsy, Oriental Trading and other top party sites. For 20 years, we’ve helped students gain real-world skills in a supportive virtual environment — leading to hires at Fortune 500 companies and top SEO agencies.

This is an unpaid internship, but you’ll gain hands-on SEO training and a portfolio of published work that can make you stand out in interviews.

What You’ll Learn

How SEO works and how to get content to rank on Google.

Using Google Analytics to shape strategy.

On-page optimization, keyword targeting, and image optimization.

How to determine beatability and assess competitive search results.

What You’ll Do

Create content for event landing pages.

Write concise FAQ content targeting Google’s “People Also Ask” results.

Add and proof products in our marketplace.

Create product galleries in blog posts.

Generate ideas for Pinterest boards.

Who is managing you as an intern?

Ms. Kilmer, our CEO, mentors students and meets with them one-on-one each week to review questions/provide feedback, etc.

What hours can I work?

There is a lot of flexibility and you can work this around another internship or job.

What do we look for in an intern?

We love working with students who really want to learn, take advantage of the incredible opportunity, contribute and advance to leadership roles.

What are the weekly requirements?

Students must record their hours and accomplishments each week and attend one short team meeting per week. You must be highly responsive on Microsoft Teams.

Employment Trends

The number of jobs in the career for the past two years, the current year, and projections for the next 10 years. Job counts include both employed and self-employed persons, and do not distinguish between full- and part-time jobs. Sources include Emsi industry data, staffing patterns, and OES data.

    Education Levels

    The educational attainment percentage breakdown for a career (e.g. the percentage of people in the career who hold Bachelor’s Degrees vs. Associate Degrees). Educational attainment levels are provided by O*NET.

    Annual Earnings

    Earnings figures are based on OES data from the BLS and include base rate, cost of living allowances, guaranteed pay, hazardous-duty pay, incentive pay (including commissions and bonuses), on-call pay, and tips.

    Technical Skills

    A list of hard skills associated with a given career ordered by the number of unique job postings which ask for those skills.

      Core Competencies

      The skills for the career. The "importance" is how relevant the ability is to the occupation: scale of 1-5. The "level" is the proficiency required by the occupation: scale of 0-100. Results are sorted by importance first, then level.
