POSITION: HSU Workstudy Library – Research Center

DEPARTMENT: Library

SUPERVISOR TITLE: Associate Director for University Libraries; Associate Professor

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

LOCATION: Abilene

SUMMARY/SCOPE: Assist with the collection, organization, and digitization of materials that come in to the Research Center for the Southwest.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reading cursive letters

Organizing files by date

Creating documents to help with the metadata for items

Scanning materials of different types

Becoming familiar with HSU history and collections in the Research Center for the Southwest.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Enjoy history and dealing with historical artifacts.
