We are looking for 10 candidates to help us determine if training at home, for the Imaging Analyst role, can be successful.
This is a full time position in Austin, TX. Candidates should live within 1 hour commute to the Austin office and be prepared to go into the office with limited notice based on business needs. We cannot provide relocation assistance.
The Imaging Analyst training is full time (40 hrs/week) and takes approximately 10 weeks. It will be instructor led via Zoom. Equipment provided by HeartFlow includes a desktop computer, monitor, webcam, and headset. Candidates must provide their own office equipment such as a desk, chair, quiet space, and the ability to have dimmed lighting.
Your interest in STEM and health sciences can set you up for success. Experience with visualizing and manipulating digital 3D models, including video games, is critical for the Imaging Analyst role. This is a great opportunity to help patients and jump start your career in the medical device field.
At HeartFlow we use Artificial Intelligence and Computational Fluid Dynamics, along with inspection by highly trained Imaging Analysts, to create 3D computer models of blood flow.

- The Medical Imaging Case Analyst is responsible for creating 3D computer models of coronary arteries from cardiac medical imaging (CT scans). These 3D coronary artery models show how narrowings and blockages impact blood flow. Creation of the model is done through the use of HeartFlow developed software and processes.
Responsibilities
- Interpret CT medical imaging data, per regulated process, to generate custom 3D computer models.
- Perform in-process visual inspections and verifications on medical imaging and 3D models while maintaining high levels of quality and efficiency.
- Comfortable working in a highly-regulated environment where all activities must be performed in compliance with outlined procedures. Document all work appropriately.
Qualifications
- BA/BS/AS Degree (or experience in lieu of degree)
- Strong computer skills needed
- Experience with any of the following: 3D Modeling, 3D Rendering, Graphic design, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI), Computer Graphics, etc…
- Playing 3D video games is considered experience with 3D
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Visual inspection or medical imaging experience a plus
Candidates for the Q1 2025 Imaging Analyst Class must meet the following requirements:
- Reside 1 hour within driving distance to the office in Austin, TX
- Have a designated workspace that is separate and quiet
- Have designated internet with a minimum speed of 700 mbps
- Have a minimum upload speed of 25 mbps
- Previous remote experience preferred
- Ability to commute to the office with 1 hour notice if necessary
- Be able to lift up to 25lbs for office set up
