JOB SUMMARY
This internship offers hands-on mentorship in healthcare compliance; regulatory research; and auditing within a dynamic healthcare environment. Under the direction of the System Director of Compliance and Integrity and the Manager of Compliance and Integrity; the Compliance Intern will assist the Compliance and Integrity department in supporting initiatives to ensure the organization operates in alignment with federal; state; and internal regulatory standards. The Compliance and Integrity Department will provide education to the Compliance Intern on planning; coordinating; and the management of audits and third-party investigations. The Compliance and Integrity Department will train the Compliance Intern on how to develop educational materials used for staff education. This includes content related to compliance standards; Hendrick’s policies and procedures and ensure alignment with federal; state; and internal regulatory requirements.
