JOLT: Product Lead (Strategy & Growth)

About Jolt

Jolt is an independent film distribution and impact platform committed to showcasing significant films often missed by mainstream distribution networks. We connect filmmakers with worldwide audiences while ensuring creators retain ownership and future monetization rights. With a focus on select films and a revenue-sharing model, Jolt operates ad-free, emphasizing the value of content over quantity.

What We’re Looking For

Jolt is looking for a sharp, ambitious product management lead with a proven background in audience building. This is a role for someone who has spent two to three years in consulting, strategy, or a comparably rigorous environment and is ready to take on real ownership.

The right candidate will have spent time conceiving new products, building something from zero, with a focus on the growth strategy and management to build an audience for them.

You are equal parts strategist, operator, and builder. You can size an opportunity, shape a go-to-market plan, and coordinate the team executing it. You are accustomed to, and energized by, ambiguity and want a role where your scope changes and grows.

What You’ll Do

Program Strategy & Execution

  • Own the strategy and end-to-end execution for assigned projects, from audience definition through release and post-launch optimization.
  • Coordinate the cross-functional team, holding the throughline on quality and outcomes.

Audience Building & Growth

  • Identify and size audiences across disciplines and communities, applying a product and growth mindset.
  • Working cross-functionally to build repeatable playbooks across product initiatives.

Business Development & New Initiatives

  • Pursue new partnership, revenue, and product opportunities that extend Jolt’s reach and model.
  • Build the case for new initiatives (market sizing, economics, and a clear recommendation), then help bring the strongest ones to life.
  • Represent Jolt in external conversations with partners and prospective collaborators.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with data, technology, marketing, and curation to turn insight into action.
  • Bring structure and clarity to ambiguous problems, helping the wider team make faster, better-informed decisions.

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years+ in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a comparably analytical and fast-paced environment, ready to step into more ownership.
  • 3-5 years+ experience in product management or in building and launching new products, ideally with a growth or audience-development dimension OR 5-7 years in a leadership role working directly with internal teams and external customers.
  • A demonstrated track record of building audiences or user bases in any category but new product development is a must. Please don’t apply without this experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience with sales, business development, material creation for pitches.
  • Fluent with data, and comfortable using it to drive decisions, with the judgment to know when to trust it and when to push past it.
  • A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly, and raises the bar on everything they touch.
  • Excited by Jolt’s mission and the chance to grow well beyond the initial scope of the role.

To Apply

Only if you have MOST of the above, please send your resume and a short note about a product, audience, or initiative you helped build from the ground up to jobs@jolt.film.

This is a temp-to-perm role.

DO NOT reach out to Jolt Customer Service or any staff member asking about the status of your submission. We will email with any next steps. Thanks so much for your interest in JOLT!
