Volunteer Role: Immigration Legal Services Assistant
- Outreach to immigrant community offering our services
- Assist ODIS clients and Immigration Legal Clinic participants with intake interviews, written testimonies and other requirements for legal filings
- Technical Review of draft USCIS filings as per checklist provided by ODIS
- Miscellaneous clerical work at the office as needed (filing, scanning, etc.)
- Maintenance of outreach, promotion and education resources
- Online maintenance: Quickbooks, Google Apps, Web site, Social Networks
- Multilingual a plus: Spanish and other languages
- Translation of official documents and client testimonies
- Remote / Virtual assistance welcome

Will there be routine feedback and supervision by a professional with expertise and educational and/or professional background in the field of the experience? Interns will be supervised by experienced office staff with DoJ partial accreditation and by Executive Director with extensive experience in Corporate IT business and immigrant advocacy.
