Animal Care Technician

Animal Care Technician – As one of the largest specialized dog breeders in America, we are looking for a very dependable, efficient person to assist us in the daily operation of our business. Experience caring for animals is a plus. Technician will be responsible for cleaning kennels and feeding our champion bred sporting dogs two times a day. Daily duties also may include administering medication, assisting in giving vaccinations, caring for pregnant females and puppies, unloading dog food, and keeping our kennel in top condition. This is perfect for a student as the morning work usually takes one to two hours and late afternoon requires 2 ½ to 3 hours. We are also flexible with Monday – Friday work days. We need coverage on Saturday and Sundays, but that is optional or available for additional employees. As stated above, we require a dependable and efficient person. Prior animal care in 4H or FFA is helpful.
