Pie Town Baptist Church is looking for a compassionate and dedicated pastor to help lead our small but faithful congregation in Pie Town, New Mexico. We are situated in the largest county in New Mexico, with a rural, frontier-like setting, and we need a shepherd to guide us in reaching out to the community and spreading the Gospel.
About the Area:
Pie Town is a quiet, rural community with a population of around 3,600 people. We are located on the only highway in the area, and our “hedges” are sagebrush. While the area may seem remote, it offers peace and natural beauty that many find to be a welcome change of pace. Position Overview:
This is a bi-vocational position, ideal for someone looking to balance ministry with other work opportunities in the area. Nearby, there is a pre-K through 12 school, 20 miles away, as well as job opportunities with local contractors or ranches for those with relevant skills or experience.
We are not looking for someone with a doctorate, but someone with good basic Bible training, maturity, and a heart for ministry. If you know of a retired pastor who isn’t ready to quit but would love to serve in a more relaxed setting, this could be the perfect fit.
