Staff Auditor – Federal Audit (Entry-Level)

What You’ll Do
Participate in end-to-end audit engagements, from planning through reporting.
Execute audit procedures, analyze data, and identify risks and control gaps.
Prepare clear, well-documented workpapers aligned with auditing standards.
Support development of risk-based audit plans and testing strategies.
Draft audit findings and recommendations that drive real improvements.
Collaborate with team members and communicate with client stakeholders.
Contribute ideas to improve audit processes and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For
- U.S. Citizenship (required for federal client work).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships, part-time, or academic projects welcome).
- Interest in auditing, risk, and internal controls.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team environment.
- CPA candidate or interest in pursuing CPA (preferred).
- Ability to obtain a federal security clearance (preferred).
Bonus Points If You Have
Exposure to internal audit, SOX, or compliance frameworks.
Familiarity with accounting or audit tools (Excel, data analysis tools, etc.).
