About Us: We are a specialized asbestos abatement and selective demolition company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager. This role is crucial in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations. We are looking for a results-driven leader who can oversee multiple projects while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee asbestos abatement and selective demolition projects from initiation to completion.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding asbestos handling and removal.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Supervise and direct field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project goals are met.
- Monitor job site safety and enforce company and regulatory safety standards.
- Conduct regular project site visits to assess progress and address any issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, permits, and compliance records.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes.
- Troubleshoot project challenges and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager, Project Manager, or in a similar role within the construction industry or similar classwork.
- Strong understanding of regulations and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Equivalent work experience in construction management or asbestos abatement will be a bonus.
- Relevant certifications such as Asbestos Supervisor or Project Designer are a plus.
