About Venture

Venture Music is a Nashville-based artist development and digital marketing agency working with emerging and established artists across genres. We build long-term creative partnerships, from brand strategy and content to campaign execution, and we’re looking for a production intern who wants a front-row seat to how that work gets made.

The Role

We’re looking for a production intern to support our team through the summer. The core of the role is video editing – efficient, technically clean work that keeps our content pipelines moving: captions, hooks, lyric pulls, short-form cuts. Beyond that, you’ll help plan and be on set for content shoots, sit in on internal and client-facing meetings, and pick up new skills in editing and design as the summer progresses.

Before you start, we’ll talk through what you want to get out of it and shape things around that where we can.

What You’ll Do

Execute polished short-form video edits – captions, hooks, lyric cuts, and simple montages – with speed and consistency

Take direction and feedback and turn it around quickly, including when timelines shift last minute

Help plan and attend content shoots

Attend internal and client meetings to understand how creative strategy gets made at a working agency

Take on opportunities to grow your skills in editing and design as they come up

What We’re Looking For

1+ year of hands-on Premiere Pro experience

You work efficiently, manage your own time, and don’t need a lot of hand-holding to execute

You take feedback well and treat it as part of the process, not a critique

You’re the kind of person who’d rather figure it out than wait to be told

Graphic design or content capture experience is a plus, but not required

Color correction chops are a bonus as well
