This position is located in Abilene, TX as part of the Texas State FSA Office in Taylor County.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a Program Technician, you’ll receive extensive on-the-job training to develop proficiency in all functions and operations of your assigned Field Office. These functions will include clerical support, loan processing and servicing, office management, general information, and public relations.
- Assist the Farm Loan Chief, Farm Loan Branch specialists, Farm Loan team managers, and District Directors on farm loan program procedural matters.
- Participate in training to individuals and groups in the preparation and processing of loan documents and loan procedural changes.
- Provide technical assistance to the Branch team in processing bankruptcy and farm foreclosure cases.
